Methodology

Assesso has developed and employs its own methodology, which is based on the principles and foundations of CDOIQ – Chief Data Officer & Information Quality, an information management program developed by MIT – Massachusetts Institute of Technology, from which the company’s professionals obtained certification.

Our team follows and assiduously joins MIT-promoted conferences on this discipline, in order to ensure continuous improvement of our methodology, which is also adherent to concepts and best practices promoted by other important market references, such as DAMA DMBoK® and CMMI’s DMM®.

Experience

Along more than three decades of operation, Assesso has gathered great experience on developing Data Quality and Data Management projects, having led or actively participated in the successful implementation of over 250 projects for major local and international companies, including Database Integration, Customer Data Integration, Master Data Management and Systems Migration projects. André França Cardoso

CEO & Partner

Graduated in Systems Analysis from PUC-Campinas, with an MBA in Business Administration at Fundação Dom Cabral and currently attending a course in Business Administration at IBGC. André brings together 30 years of experience in the IT industry with a strong focus on the services and products segment. He built his career at IBM, where he started as an intern and worked for 26 years, having held several executive positions, including general management of one of the company’s joint ventures. During this period, he spent 6 years in international assignment in the regions of Latam, North America and Europe. Before joining Assesso, he held an executive vice-presidency of Capgemini in Brazil for 4 years.

Flávio de Almeida Pires

COO & Partner

Graduated in Computer Science from the University of São Paulo, with an MBA in Change Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. Certified in TDQM – Total Data Quality Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and CDO – Chief Data Officer from iCDO – Institute for Chief Data Officers (MIT and University of Arkansas). At Assesso, Flávio designed DataCare, DLManager and e-Mailer systems, being the technical leader for their development and implementation in all clients. He has been working with Information Management, Data Quality and Direct Marketing systems since 1986. His previous professional experience includes technical and management activities at SCI Sistemas, Consultoria e Informática and VASP Brazilian Airlines.

Mario Fernando Cervi

Director, Data Management Solutions

Graduated in Computer Science from the University of São Paulo, with an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. Certified in TDQM – Total Data Quality Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and CDO – Chief Data Officer from iCDO – Institute for Chief Data Officers (MIT and University of Arkansas). He joined Assesso in 1996 and has conducted CRM, Data Management and Data Quality projects for the company’s clients since then, also participating in the products and methodologies design and evolution. His previous professional experience includes technical and management activities at TVA, VASP Brazilian Airlines and Fundação Carlos Chagas.

Luiz Anésio Ribeiro

Director, Sales and Marketing

Graduated in Mathematics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica of São Paulo, with an MBA in Marketing and Sales from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. Luiz Anésio joined Assesso in 1995 as sales manager, becoming a Sales and Marketing Director in 2005. He has more than 25 years of experience in technology companies including Unisys, CTIS and ASKIngres do Brasil.

Silvio Hagui

Director, Solutions Development

Graduated in Computer Science from UFSCar, with an MBA in Information Technology Applied to Strategic Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. He joined Assesso in 1998, consulting and implementing Data Quality projects. Silvio moved to the technology team in 2001, working on maintenance and development of new software modules. Since 2008, he is the Solutions Development Director, leading products evolution and new technologies research. His previous professional experience includes activities at Itautec Philco, Instituto de Pesquisas Tecnológicas (IPT) and ISI – Informática Soluções Integradas.

Marcelo de Oliveira

Director, Data Management Products & Services

Graduated in Systems Analysis from Pontifícia Universidade Católica of Campinas, with a postgraduate degree in Marketing from Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing. At Assesso since 1996, Marcelo has worked on Data Profiling and Assessment, Master Data Management (MDM), Customer Data Information (CDI), Single Customer View (SCV) and Database Marketing (DBM) projects. Since 2010, he is a professor in the Data Quality and Governance field in postgraduate and MBA courses. His previous professional experience includes activities in IBM Brazil and Instituto de Pesquisas Tecnológicas (IPT).

José Alves Lima Júnior

Manager, Data Management Solutions

Graduated in Computer Science from the University of São Paulo in São Carlos, with a MBA in Strategic and Economic Project Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. He has been at Assesso since 1999, providing strategic and technical consulting for Systems Migration, Data Quality, Master Data Management (MDM), Customer Data Information (CDI), Single Customer View (SCV), for companies in various market segments, such as Services, Media, Insurance, Telecommunications and Finance.

Luciano Franco Peixoto

Manager, Data Management Soluti

Graduated in Computer Science from Pontifícia Universidade Católica of São Paulo, with a postgraduate degree in Management in Information Technology from FIAP and an MBA in Strategic and Economic Management of Projects from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. Certified in the TDQM – Total Data Quality Management program of MIT – Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA. At Assesso since 1996, Luciano has led a number of custom-tailored systems development projects. Since 2003, he has been consulting and managing Data Quality, Systems Migration, MDM, CDI and Single Customer View (SCV) projects for companies in various market segments. His previous professional experience includes activities at Instituto de Pesquisas Tecnológicas (IPT).
